Polaris Health & Rehabilitation Center at the Milford Wellness Village has announced the hiring of Joshua Gross as its admissions director. Gross is responsible for facilitating all aspects of a smooth transfer throughout the admission process at Polaris. He develops and maintains referral relationships with local hospitals and other medical care providers to assist with patients requiring placement. Many of his additional tasks include coordinating pre-admission interview screening, conducting tours, and providing updates and resources to residents and their family members.

Prior to Polaris, Gross was the Director of Admissions and Marketing for nine years at a nursing care facility in Millsboro, DE. He is originally from Northern New Jersey where he attended Morris College and moved to Delaware almost 20 years ago.

“Our goal is to provide the necessary healthcare services that meet the needs of all residents and families that seek our care,” said Nationwide Healthcare Services CEO Meir Gelley. “Josh plays an important role to make Polaris a warm and welcoming environment for everyone.  Residents can expect nothing short of our consistent delivery of exemplary short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.”

In addition to his professional experience, Gross is also very involved in the Milford community as a volunteer with the Second Street Players at the Riverfront Theatre. He previously served as the President of the Board of Directors for 10 years and remains active with the organization where he regularly interacts with community members and organizes fundraising events and helps manage the theater’s operations.

“I enjoy getting out and talking to the community about what Polaris can do for the area and most importantly to help their loved ones get the care they need,” said Gross. “Milford is a welcoming community to everyone and a great place to live and work.”
